Allow the Game in Windows Security<\/strong><strong><br><\/strong> If Windows is blocking the game launch, authorize it as follows:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Right-click the <strong>Start<\/strong> button and choose <strong>Settings<\/strong><strong><br><\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Go to <strong>Update &amp; Security<\/strong>, then <strong>Windows Security<\/strong><strong><br><\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Select <strong>Virus &amp; Threat Protection<\/strong><strong><br><\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Under <strong>Current Threats<\/strong>, click <strong>Protection History<\/strong><strong><br><\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Find the blocked game application (e.g. Insanegame_x64.exe) in the Controlled Folder Access list<br><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click <strong>Actions<\/strong>, then <strong>Allow on Device<\/strong><strong><br><\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Close the Windows Security window<br><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>F. Avast Antivirus &amp; Game Crash (BSOD) \u2013 User FAQ<\/strong><strong><br><\/strong> <strong>Known Issue:<\/strong> Some users of Avast Free on Windows 11 may experience a blue screen (BSOD) when launching the game. This can happen if Avast scans the game executable at startup.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Workarounds:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Add exceptions in Avast:<\/strong><strong><br><\/strong>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Open Avast menu &gt; <strong>Settings<\/strong> &gt; <strong>General<\/strong> &gt; <strong>Exceptions<\/strong><strong><br><\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Add the game folder and all related launchers to the exceptions list<br><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Temporarily disable the File Shield:<\/strong><strong><br><\/strong>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Avast <strong>Settings<\/strong> &gt; <strong>Protection<\/strong> &gt; <strong>Core Shields<\/strong><strong><br><\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Turn off <strong>File Shield<\/strong> before launching the game<br><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Do not use Avast sandbox:<\/strong><strong><br><\/strong>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>If prompted, refuse to run the game in the sandbox<br><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Run as administrator:<\/strong><strong><br><\/strong>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>After adding exceptions, launch the game with administrative privileges<br><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Note:<\/strong> The <em>Rooftops &amp; Alleys<\/em> executable won\u2019t be digitally signed at launch, which may trigger false positives in some antivirus programs. If flagged, this is a harmless alert\u2014you can safely run the game.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>G. Steam Download\/Installation Issues<\/strong><strong><br><\/strong> If you\u2019re unable to download the game via Steam, please follow these steps:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Launch Steam.<br><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click <strong>Steam<\/strong> (top-left corner) and select <strong>Settings<\/strong>.<br><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Go to the <strong>Downloads<\/strong> tab.<br><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click <strong>Clear Download Cache<\/strong>, then confirm by clicking <strong>OK<\/strong>.<br><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Steam will automatically restart.<br><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Important:<\/strong> This will not delete your installed games, but you will need to log in to Steam again.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>H. Error Message \/ Screenshot<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Take a screenshot of the error message (using the <strong>Print Screen<\/strong> key or the Windows Snipping Tool).<br><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Attach the image to your email or support request.<br><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>I.
