Paris, September 10, 2026 – Artefacts Studio, Shine Publishing and Radical Theory are pleased to announce a partnership for the development of two new video games set in the universe of the famous saga The Dungeon of Naheulbeuk: Bad Roll and Chaos Deck. Both games are scheduled for release in 2027 on consoles and PC. To finalize these projects, a crowdfunding campaign will be launched on Ulule in the coming weeks, but you can already register to be the first to receive all the info about the Ulule campaign.
Artefacts Studio’s return to the Lands of Fangh
Having already helmed the previous two Naheulbeuk games (The Amulet of Chaos and Naheulbeuk’s Dungeon Master), the Artefacts Studio team once again brings its expertise to the franchise, after selling hundreds of thousands of copies of the previous entries. Under the supervision and involvement of John Lang, the saga’s creator, Artefacts guarantees total fidelity to the absurd humor and lore of the franchise, while offering fun and effective gameplay mechanics. These two new titles offer fresh approaches to exploring the Dungeon of Naheulbeuk:
- Bad Roll: The most chaotic board game in the Dungeon of Naheulbeuk!
- Chaos Deck : Card game, permadeath, and eternal humor
These games arrive with an unapologetic “indie” vibe, while preserving the quality and biting humor signature to the series.
An Ulule campaign to elevate the Naheulbeuk experience
Both games will be released in 2027, with Artefacts Studio – for a change – surrounding itself with partners ready to share and embrace an indie adventure. While the games won’t need crowdfunding to launch with the required level of quality and a rich gameplay experience, the Ulule campaign aims to enrich the “Naheulbeuk” aspect of the projects. The raised funds will notably allow the team to include an exceptional voice cast, add brand-new music by John Lang, and expand the narrative and comedic content – to the delight of the franchise’s fans, and to the delight of its creator, who will be able to truly go all out!
